Summer Festival 2009

The 10^th Summer Festival of Arts & Music

was once again most successful

Exhibitions: Displays of artwork by Local Artists, Embroidery and stitchery by Harrogate Embroiderers’ Guild & photographs by                                   Harrogate Photographic Society

On Friday 12^th June the Grand Opening was performed by the Mayor of Harrogate Coun Pat Jones.  Wine & canapes were on offer plus entertainment by Harrogate Operatic Players

On Saturday 20^th June White Rose Concert Band with Woodlands Junior School Choir performed to a near full house.

Saturday 27^th June 7.30pm Harrogate Phoenix Players were in concert

Saturday 4^th July the ever popular Strawberry Tea.  Staff were kept very busy all afternoon thanks to sunny weather.

Sunday 5^th July a Songs of Praise service led by Revd Peter Clarkson of Wigton Moor Leeds marked the close of the Festival
